UnderExposed

UnderExposed, a collective I co-founded in 2018, addresses and seeks solutions to the challenges cultural workers face through community driven interventions and (un)learning practices. This includes large-scale commissions, residencies, publications, workshops, and community engagement events.

Selected projects include:

Communal Rituals
Research and new work on self-organising groups, art collectives and community formation rituals, with a series of online public talks, and a public workshop.
Commissioned by: Brighton Centre For Contemporary Art

Critical Pulse
A mass participation call-out for responses on the cultural sector post-Covid, an exhibition at the Attenborough Centre for Creative Arts, a panel discussion on ‘How can we build a fairer, more equitable, more democratic cultural sector?’, and an accompanying workshop.
Commissioned by: Photoworks, University of Sussex

Terms of Engagement
Workshop interrogating the role of the curator and (un)learning through collective play.
Commission by: The Photographer’s Gallery, London College of Communications
